Bull River Cruises and the Savannah RIverkeeper announce Savannah River Expedition.

September 10, 2004:
On October 8, 2004, Bull River Cruises and the Savannah Riverkeeper are hosting a two hundred mile, 4 day, river expedition to promote the ecological and historic importance of the Savannah River. This excursion will explore this alluvial river from Augusta to Savannah. We will be traveling aboard the vessel “Island Explorer”, a 45-foot passenger vessel. Four days of nature will combine with history as we wander the winding beauty of the Savannah River. Water testing, natural and cultural history, and birding are just a few of the activities that will be enjoyed while on this path of the Savannah. Accommodations choices are varied; camping with beautiful riverside sites will be available; those who want more comfortable accommodations will have that option. Savannah Riverkeeper invites those who want to learn and explore this wonderful wilderness to join us for this trip. Spaces are limited;.
