WHO WE ARE
Bull River Cruises was established in 1999 and has been the leader in providing boat tours and excursions for over 27 years. The company was formed to share the beauty, environmental importance and history of Coastal Georgia.
Working with the nonprofit community, Bull River Cruises has provided environmental education to thousands of children and adults. Partnering with groups like Burton 4H, Ossabaw Island Foundation, Tybee Island Marine Science Center, University of Georgia, Chatham County School System and many more, have allowed us to to use our 45ft excursion vessel as a floating classroom and transportation to the remote barrier islands of the coast.
We have also used the vessel “Island Explorer” to host events celebrating birthdays, bachelorette cruises, weddings, family reunions, and many social gatherings.
Michael Neal is the founder and owner of Bull River Cruises. He is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy and has studied the environment and history of Coastal Georgia. He has become a leader in providing naturalist history and education in the area.
